My Jazz Travel to Guam

A part of the U.S. military base in Okinawa is being relocated to the island of Guam, and the people here in Guam are expecting a lot of economic benefits from the relocation, not from the tourists they have been dealing with, but from the great number of people, including the same American families. Since the military consumes a lot of money just to make a living, this island, which is not wealthy, will be able to have a lot of leeway.

It is a southern island after all.
The colors of the sun, the sky, and the sea are just like the wonderful image of everlasting summer that I had dreamed of. The sea breeze is soft and fragrant, and I feel good. I dozed off while reading a romance novel.... At night, you can dance and make noise at a restaurant with a live jazz band. Yes, that's right. There are not many places with live bands.
Adults are really tired from daytime swimming and don't go to bed early, do they?

There was a stylish jazz band in a big hotel, and white people came and played. In town, there were stores with reggae bands, R&B and local rock bands playing endless dance tunes.
I got to play at a place called Breeze and at the Casanami Surf Pub.
There were not many standard tunes at the beach, but mostly Latin and rock music.
But the kids in the local band listened to us enthusiastically. Of course, there were drunks, too.
I am sure there will be more jazz stores when the U.S. military moves back to the area.
I hope to drop by again in another 3-4 years.
